Terms of Service

Products & pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. We make every effort to display our products and their colours accurately, but we can't guarantee that your device displays colour true to life — flat-lay images in particular are shot under studio lighting and may appear slightly lighter than the true garment. Please refer to on-model imagery for the most accurate representation.

We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product information, and to change prices, product descriptions and availability at any time without notice.

Orders

Your order is an offer to purchase. Once you place an order you'll receive a confirmation email; this confirms we've received your order, not that we've accepted it. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, and to cancel an order after it has been placed — for example, where an item is out of stock, where there has been a pricing error, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order you've paid for, you'll receive a full refund.

Payment

We accept Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and major credit and debit cards, along with any other payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

Wholesale

Wholesale and bulk orders are subject to separate terms provided during the wholesale application and ordering process. Access to wholesale pricing is limited to approved account holders.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the Local Apparel name, logo, product designs, imagery, and text — is our property or used under licence, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any of it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply in addition to these terms and prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
